Step into the heart of the school community! This role involves working closely alongside experienced teachers, providing essential support to student's day-to-day learning and well-being. You will be a vital, hands-on champion for pupils, helping to build their confidence and ensure every child has access to a fantastic, supportive education.
Main Duties:
- Help the main teacher in the delivery of daily lessons.
- Support small groups of students with foundational skills like reading, writing, and numeracy.
- Assist in getting the classroom ready, such as preparing materials or creating stimulating displays.
- Listen to children read and help them practise key skills for confidence building.
- Support positive behaviour management and encourage good conduct in the classroom.
- Supervise students during non-class times, such as breaks, lunch, or organised school activities.
- Provide valuable feedback on student achievements and progress to the class teacher.
