What You'll Do:
As a Teaching Assistant, you'll be the supportive backbone of the classroom. Your main duties will be simple but vital:
- Help children with their schoolwork in small groups or one-on-one.
- Listen to children read and help them practice their letters and numbers.
- Support the teacher by getting the classroom ready, preparing materials, and tidying up.
- Look after children during lunch or playtime, making sure they are safe and happy.
- Encourage good behaviour and help children follow the school rules.
- Be a friendly face and a good role model for all the pupils.
