Ready to be the supportive backbone of a dynamic classroom? As a Teaching Assistant, you will become an integral part of the school's daily success. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with the class teacher, fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and motivated to achieve greatness.
Main Duties:
- Help the main teacher in the delivery of daily lessons.
- Support small groups of students with foundational skills like reading, writing, and numeracy.
- Assist in getting the classroom ready, such as preparing materials or creating stimulating displays.
- Listen to children read and help them practise key skills for confidence building.
- Support positive behaviour management and encourage good conduct in the classroom.
- Supervise students during non-class times, such as breaks, lunch, or organised school activities.
- Provide valuable feedback on student achievements and progress to the class teacher.
