Teaching Assistant- Crosby
Randstad Education is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants (TAs) for secondary schools located in the Crosby area-primarily covering L23 postcodes.
If you live in or near Crosby (L23) and have a natural interest in motivating students, we want you to join our team supporting vibrant secondary schools.
No formal qualifications are required. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for education, a positive, professional attitude, and is highly effective at time management and organisation. Most importantly, you must have the patience and empathy needed to build rapport and support students.
Must Haves:
- Legal Right to Work in the UK.
- A current Enhanced Child DBS (or the willingness to apply-we will guide you through this essential process).
Duties:
- Help students with their daily school work.
- Assist with reading, writing, and numeracy activities in small groups or one-to-one sessions.
- Support the class teacher with tasks and preparation.
- Supervise students and encourage positive behaviour.
- Provide feedback on student progress and challenges to the class teacher.
