Randstad is working with primary schools across Chesterfield & Sheffield to recruit Teaching Assistants who are reliable, compassionate, and capable of supporting diverse learners in positive and respectful settings.
You must have:
- A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
- Experience working in primary schools, nurseries, or SEN provisions
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- The ability to follow directions and use initiative
- A firm understanding of safeguarding and inclusion
- Eligible to work in the Uk without any restrictions.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the learning and progress of children with varying needs
- Assisting with behaviour management and class routines
- Supporting individual education plans (IEPs) for pupils with SEND
- Encouraging independence and resilience among pupils
- Helping the class teacher with daily organisation and resources
