Teaching Assistant- Heswall
Randstad is actively seeking passionate and committed individuals for a Teaching Assistant role in lovely schools across the Heswall, Wirral (CH60) area. If you're keen to support children's learning journey and possess important personal qualities, we encourage you to apply!
You will be an essential member of the classroom team, assisting pupils and teachers daily. Your key responsibilities are:
- Directly support children with their educational tasks, focusing on small groups or individual attention.
- Encourage the development of essential skills such as reading, writing, and number work.
- Assist the class teacher with general classroom organisation, preparing materials, and setting up activities.
- Oversee and ensure the well-being of pupils during lesson time, breaks, and lunch periods.
- Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a calm, focused, and respectful classroom atmosphere.
We are looking for someone who has:

- Consistent, punctual, and fully committed to the role.
- A Positive and Proactive Mindset.
- You communicate clearly and build good relationships with children and staff.
- Can easily move between tasks and different age groups as needed.
