We're looking for a full-time Teaching Assistant to join the Randstad Education team, supporting schools in Crawley, Horsham, East Grinstead, Haywards Heath, and Horley. This isn't just a job; it's a chance to be a key player in a student's educational journey. You'll work side-by-side with teachers, creating an engaging and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with varying needs.
Assist the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
Prepare learning materials and set up classroom activities.
Support student's social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour.
Supervise students during lessons, breaks, and school trips.
What We Need From You:
A genuine passion for education and working with young people.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting (3+ Months Mandate)
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Excellent organisational skills.
A clear enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
