Role & Responsibilities

You will provide vital one-on-one and small-group support to students with diverse special educational needs. Working closely with teachers, you'll implement individual learning plans, helping students achieve their academic and personal goals. You'll be a key part of creating a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, contributing to a thriving learning environment.

Main tasks include

Provide individualised and small-group support to students with SEN.
Collaborate with teachers to implement and adapt individual learning plans.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Assist with lesson preparation and materials.
Track student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.
Mentor and guide students, celebrating their achievements.

Requirements

At least six months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school setting.
A patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to supporting students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
Experience working with children with special educational needs (preferred).
Relevant qualifications in education (preferred).
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Commitment to inclusive education practices.
Passion for supporting students to reach their full potential.
