The Teaching Assistant role is a foundational position within our school, where you will directly support the learning journey of our students. You will assist teachers in delivering an inclusive curriculum, provide essential one-on-one and small group support, and help create a nurturing environment where every student can achieve their full potential.
Duties:
- Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
- Supervising students during activities, break times, and school trips.
- Assisting with administrative tasks, such as creating displays and organising materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach.
- Sensitivity, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
