The Role
Are you looking for a rewarding role in West Sussex that offers a perfect work-life balance while allowing you to make a real impact in the classroom?
We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Primary Supply Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with classroom experience who value the freedom to choose when and where they work. As a supply TA, you will have the opportunity to work across various local primary schools, gaining broad experience in both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will be varied and rewarding, including:
Classroom Support: Assisting the teacher with resource preparation and lesson delivery.
Targeted Intervention: Providing 1:1 and small group support, specifically focusing on literacy and numeracy.
Inclusion: Supporting students with diverse learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Behaviour Management: Helping to maintain a positive, focused, and safe learning environment.
Supervision: Ensuring student safety and well-being during break and lunchtimes.
What We Are Looking For
A reliable professional with a "can-do" attitude.
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
The ability to quickly build rapport with students and staff in West Sussex schools.
A passion for primary education and supporting children's development.
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to different school environments at short notice.
