Roles & Responsibilities
Delivering targeted academic interventions to small groups, specifically focusing on closing attainment gaps in core subjects.
Providing 1:1 support for pupils with specific learning requirements, ensuring all tasks are differentiated to meet their individual needs.
Maintaining a high standard of classroom organisation, including the preparation of bespoke learning resources and interactive displays.
Assisting the Class Teacher in the systematic tracking of pupil progress, providing detailed feedback for internal reporting.
Upholding the school's robust behaviour policy by promoting self-regulation and positive social interactions.
Supervising pupils during unstructured times, such as break and lunch periods, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
Requirements
Relevant qualification in supporting teaching and learning (minimum Level 3 preferred).
Proven experience working within a UK primary school setting, ideally within a large or expanding school.
Strong competency in English and Mathematics, with the ability to explain complex concepts to young learners.
A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
High professional standards regarding attendance, punctuality, and child protection protocols.
A valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one).
