Pay Rate: £13.68 - £14.00 per hour
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be integral to the classroom environment and individual pupil support. Your core responsibilities will include:
- In-Class Support: Assist the class teacher with setting up and managing learning activities, preparing resources, and supervising group work.
- Pupil Development: Provide one-to-one or small-group intervention to help pupils who need additional support with literacy, numeracy, or specific learning targets.
- Behaviour Management: Implement the school's behaviour policy, ensuring a positive and focused learning environment.
- Welfare & Safeguarding: Act as a key adult in the classroom, tending to pupil's physical and emotional needs and adhering to all school safeguarding policies.
- Assessment: Assist the teacher with recording and monitoring pupil progress and feedback.
- Special Educational Needs (SEN): Support pupils with Education, Health and Care (EHC) plans or specific needs, adapting activities to ensure their full inclusion.
