Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Rainham on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students with special educational needs.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping students with their learning and social development. While experience with SEN is a bonus, it is not essential, as we are looking for candidates who are passionate about working with children and are committed to making a difference.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students with their academic and social needs.
Assisting the teacher in managing classroom activities and behavior.
Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis with students who require additional support.
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Experience working with children is essential.
Experience with SEN is desirable but not essential.
A positive, proactive, and patient attitude.
Must be able to start as soon as possible.
An Enhanced DBS check is required. We can provide full support with this process.
Pay and Benefits:
£90 per day for the first 12 weeks.
The pay rate will increase to £107 per day after 12 weeks, in line with the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).
