Randstad Education is looking for a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school community in Witham. Working closely with class teachers, SEN staff, and school leadership, you will help deliver high-quality education and pastoral care for all pupils, with particular focus on those needing additional support.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in the planning and delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons.
- Assist pupils in their learning across a range of subjects, both in groups and 1:1.
- Promote inclusion and help children develop their confidence, independence, and resilience.
- Support pupils with special educational needs (SEN), including those with EHCPs.
- Use a range of strategies to support behaviour management and engagement.
- Prepare classroom resources and support in setting up and clearing learning activities.
- Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress and share observations with teaching staff.

Requirements:
- An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
- Minimum Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent experience
- A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
- Understanding of child development and learning strategies
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion.
