📝 Core Duties and Responsibilities
This management role requires balancing statutory compliance, robust clinical oversight, and strong people leadership to ensure children in the Council's care receive the highest standard of support.
Practice Leadership: Providing high-quality, reflective supervision and management oversight to a team of Registered Managers and residential staff, ensuring consistency and adherence to the Council's restorative practice model.
Statutory Compliance: Ensuring all homes and services operate in full compliance with the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and the National Minimum Standards (NMS) for Children's Homes.
Quality Assurance: Leading internal quality assurance processes, managing regulatory visits (Ofsted), and driving continuous service improvement based on inspection findings and service development needs.
