Randstad Education is working with a leading college in Cambridge who are looking for a passionate and skilled Technical Construction Lecturer. You would be a lecturer who can inspire students not just in the core principles of construction, but in the vital, cutting-edge areas that are defining the future of the industry. \

This is a full time permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with their hours 08.30am - 04.30pm.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver teaching and training on Built Environment programmes, including T-Levels.
- Design and develop curriculum, lessons, and assessment materials.
- Mentor students as a personal tutor and track their progress.
- Assess student work according to awarding body standards and provide feedback.
- Assist in student recruitment, interviews, and promotional events.
- Develop and maintain strong links with industry partners.
- Uphold all college policies, including safeguarding and health & safety.
Preferred Skills:
- Degree or Level 5 qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Substantial and recent professional industry experience.
- Experience in lecturing, workplace training, or mentoring.
- Knowledge of sustainability, green skills, and retrofit principles.
- Strong communication and motivational skills for teaching.
- Good organisational and IT skills for planning and creating resources.
- Full UK driving licence (highly desirable).
- Teaching or assessor qualifications (e.g., PGCE, A1) are desirable but not essential.
