We are seeking a key operative with a valid telehandler ticket to join our team on a commercial construction project in Appleby. This is an exciting long-term opportunity for an experienced and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a telehandler to move materials and equipment safely on-site.
- Assisting with general site duties, including lifting, carrying, and manual handling of materials.
- Opening and locking up site.
- Working closely with the site manager and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Ordering skips.
- Ensuring site safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Helping with other tasks as required by the project.
Requirements:
- Valid Telehandler Ticket (must be able to operate telehandlers safely and effectively).
- CSCS card.
- Previous experience in a similar role on commercial construction sites.
- Strong awareness of site safety and health regulations.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Reliable, hardworking, and committed to long-term employment.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
