Are you a skilled and CPCS-certified telehandler operator looking for a short-term opportunity? We have an immediate requirement for an experienced individual to join a busy new build housing site in the Spennymoor area.
About the Role:
As our telehandler operator, you will play a vital role in the efficient movement of materials around the housing development site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the telehandler safely and efficiently to lift and move various materials.
- Supplying materials to different trades on site as required.
- Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of deliveries.
- Performing daily checks and basic maintenance on the machine.
- Adhering strictly to site health and safety regulations at all times.
- Working closely with the site management team and other operatives.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience operating telehandlers on construction sites, ideally on new build housing projects.
- A valid CPCS telehandler ticket is essential for this role.
- Excellent machine operating skills and spatial awareness.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- A strong understanding of health and safety procedures related to plant operation.
- Reliability and punctuality are crucial.
- Full UK driving licence.
