We are seeking a compassionate and driven Service Manager to join our service lead team in Carlisle. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for effective staff management and activity coordination within our community provision, ensuring professional care delivery for individuals in their own homes.
The Role
As a Service Manager, you will lead a team of Team Leaders and Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centered support. You will empower your staff to lead in their areas of responsibility while maintaining operational excellence.
Salary: £27,810 - £29,463 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility required for early starts, evenings, and weekends.
On-Call: Participation in the organizational on-call rota is an essential requirement.

Activity Coordination: Develop initiatives and coordinate activities that help individuals live full, meaningful lives in line with their support plans.
Operational Management: Create effective staff rotas, chair team meetings, and manage sickness and absence in accordance with policy.
Quality & Compliance: Audit records and monitor service requirements to ensure full alignment with Adult Social Care and CQC standards.
Health & Safety: Maintain accountability for individual safety by following risk assessments and completing regular fire and health checks.
Direct Support: Provide hands-on support worker cover and direct care provision as required.

Essential Requirements: A valid driver's license to operate vehicles and a commitment to maintaining an active subscription to the online DBS update service at your own expense.
