The Role and Responsibilities:
You will be the key point of contact for vehicle movements on-site, ensuring safety and logistics run smoothly from the very start of this significant project.
- Directing and Managing the safe movement of all construction traffic, including large deliveries, plant machinery, and site vehicles.
- Controlling Entry and Egress at the site gates, liaising with security and management.
- Maintaining clear communication with drivers using clear hand signals and radio contact.
- Strictly enforcing the segregation of vehicles and pedestrians across the site.
- Ensuring continuous adherence to all site Health and Safety protocols.
Essential Requirements:
- A valid traffic marshall / vehicle banksman qualification or ticket is mandatory.
- A valid CSCS card is essential.
- Proven experience managing traffic flow on a large or complex construction site.
- Excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and a strong focus on safety.
- Commitment to a long-term contract starting in the New Year.
- Must have appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
