Are you an experienced and vigilant traffic marshall looking for a demanding and critical role on a major project? We are recruiting reliable individuals to manage vehicle and pedestrian movements on a large military construction site near Leeming.
Key Responsibilities
- Directing and managing the movement of construction vehicles, deliveries, and plant safely across the site.
- Controlling access and ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles enter restricted areas.
- Liaising with site management and security teams to manage delivery schedules.
- Maintaining clear communication with vehicle drivers using clear hand signals and radio contact.
- Monitoring pedestrian routes and ensuring segregation from vehicle traffic.
- Promptly reporting any traffic incidents, hazards, or concerns to the site manager.
What You'll Need
- A valid CSCS card is mandatory.
- An accredited Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banksman qualification or ticket is essential.
- Previous experience working as a traffic marshall, ideally on a large or complex site.
- Experience or comfort working within a secure or military environment is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional demeanour.
- A strong commitment to Health and Safety procedures.
