      Spares EngineerRandstad Engineering are currently recruiting for a Spares Engineer to come and work for TATA Steel in Shotton Works. The role is paying £39,000 per annum on an initial 12 month contract. The ideal candidate will be required to work 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a day shift. PURPOSE OF JOBThe spares engineer is responsible for ensuring the Shotton Manufacturing operation has thenecessary spares available to ensure line continuity and optimal maintenance costs by ensuringoptimal spares holding has been identified for each line, implemented via the Stores and SAPprocesses and any obsolete or dated stock is removed as appropriate. Optimal management ofspares and stock ensure maximum line availability at minimum cost to the business and is seen as akey role in our Advanced Asset Management approach.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Work with Project Engineers and Cell Engineers to identify key spares during the Project Phase,purchase these spares at optimal cost and dispose of any spares made obsolete or redundantfollowing the project implementation (~40% of time) Ensure that the SAP system holds correct and accurate records of spares as Bill Of Materials(BOM) within the Functional Location (FLOC) structure for each manufacturing asset.
