Daily Pay: £173 - £190 (Competitive, based on experience and scale)
We are seeking an inspirational and Qualified Teacher (QTS) to deliver our crucial Personal, Social, Health, and Economic (PSHE) curriculum at our secondary school in Rhyl, starting in January. This role is central to developing the resilience and citizenship of our students.
Duties:
- Lesson Delivery: Plan and teach engaging PSHE lessons across Key Stages (likely age 11-16).
- Curriculum Development: Deliver and adapt the PSHE curriculum, including RSE (Relationships and Sexuality Education) and Citizenship elements, following statutory guidance.
- Student Support: Foster a safe and open environment for discussion of sensitive and challenging topics.
- Pastoral Contribution: Support the school's overall pastoral and safeguarding initiatives.
- Assessment & Feedback: Assess student understanding and progress in non-examination subjects.
- Whole-School Contribution: Participate actively in staff meetings, training, and tutor duties.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of PSHE curriculum content, including health, relationships, careers, and financial awareness.
- Relevant Experience: Proven experience teaching PSHE and/or Citizenship/RSE to secondary school students.
- Strong People Skills: Ability to handle sensitive discussions with maturity and impartiality.
- Compliance: Current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
