Responsibilities- Prepare the classroom and resources for the day's lessons.
- Teach core subjects like Phonics, English, and Maths.
- Lead small group activities and play-based learning.
- Assess student understanding and progress throughout the day.
- Manage classroom behaviour, routines, and transitions.
- Supervise children during break and lunch times.
- Mark work and plan future lessons after school.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.
- Experience working with young children is essential.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching young children.
- A strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum.
- Ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
