The Role
Are you an inspiring educator ready to lead a Year 2 class through their final term of Key Stage 1? Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated teacher for a supportive, high-achieving primary school in Crawley.
Starting this April, you will guide a settled cohort through their end-of-year milestones, ensuring a smooth and confident transition into Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities
Class Leadership: Plan and deliver the full Year 2 curriculum with a focus on core literacy and numeracy.
Progress Tracking: Manage end-of-year assessments and moderation, ensuring every child reaches their potential.
Inclusive Teaching: Differentiate lessons for a mixed-ability class, including EAL and SEN learners.
Community Focus: Build strong, transparent relationships with parents and carers.
What You Bring
QTS: Essential (ECTs are warmly welcomed).
KS1 Expertise: Deep knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum and effective Phonics delivery.
Management: A nurturing but disciplined approach to classroom management.
