Role & Responsibilities
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic and personal growth of your students. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, creating a positive and inclusive classroom where every child thrives. You'll work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure each student's success.
Main tasks include
- Lead engaging and challenging lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Develop a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learner needs.
- Foster strong partnerships with parents.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and teaching assistants.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- Strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Commitment to fostering a love of learning.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs.
- Passion for working with young children.
