As a Year 2 Teacher, you'll be instrumental in creating an inspiring and effective learning experience for your pupils. You'll:

• Plan & Deliver Engaging Lessons: Design and deliver a creative and stimulating Year 2 curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, focusing on consolidating foundational skills in phonics, reading, writing, and mathematics, and preparing for Key Stage 1 assessments.

• Foster a Positive Classroom Environment: Create a nurturing, inclusive, and well-managed classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and motivated to learn.

• Assess & Monitor Progress: Regularly assess pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to ensure every child reaches their full potential, particularly in preparation for statutory assessments.

• Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to pupil development and well-being.
