Are you a passionate Primary Teacher ready to lead a Year 3 class into a successful summer term and beyond? A dynamic and forward-thinking academy in Thamesmead is looking for a dedicated classroom practitioner to join their Key Stage 2 team.
Year 3 is a pivotal year as students transition from infants to juniors. We are looking for someone who can bridge that gap with creativity, high expectations, and a nurturing touch.

What You'll Bring:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
KS2 Experience: A strong understanding of the Year 3 curriculum and the transition from KS1.
Engagement: The ability to plan and deliver "hook-in" lessons that capture the imagination of 7 and 8-year-olds.
Inclusivity: A commitment to supporting students of all abilities, including those with EAL and SEND.
A Positive Ethos: A belief that every child can achieve, regardless of their starting point.
Your Role:
As our Year 3 Teacher, you will:
Teach & Lead: Take full responsibility for a Year 3 class, fostering a love for reading, writing, and mathematics.
Build Foundations: Help students develop the independent learning skills required for the junior years.
Collaborate: Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to ensure the holistic well-being of every pupil.
Assess & Elevate: Use creative assessment techniques to monitor progress and close any learning gaps.
