Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for a Year 5 class.
Effectively differentiate teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of all pupils, ensuring every child can achieve their full potential.
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback to pupils and parents.
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.
Develop strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community to support student success.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attainment and development.
Actively participate in school events, meetings, and extra-curricular activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Teaching experience within a Key Stage 2 (KS2) setting.
Proven knowledge and a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum.
Must hold, or be willing to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check.
Outstanding classroom management skills with the ability to create a stimulating learning environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
