Who We're Looking For: An Experienced Year 5 Teacher

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Year 5 Teacher who is committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE).

• Demonstrable experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum.

• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.

• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire a love of learning.

Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher:

As the class teacher for Year 5, your core duties will include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective lessons that adhere to the national curriculum standards for Year 5.

• Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every child can thrive.

• Effectively managing classroom behaviour to ensure a productive and safe atmosphere.

• Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.

• Collaborating seamlessly with school staff, including the Key Stage 2 team and SENCO, to ensure consistent and effective teaching approaches.

• Providing constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and personal development.

• Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding their child's progress.
