What We're Looking For:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled, and experienced Year 5 Teacher who is committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Demonstrable experience teaching Key Stage 2, with specific experience in Year 5 being highly desirable.
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum for Year 5.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging, and challenging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Excellent classroom management skills that foster a positive and productive learning environment.
Your Role as a Year 5 Teacher:
As a Year 5 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering creative, inspiring, and effective lessons that adhere to national curriculum standards for Year 5.
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to succeed.
- Effectively managing classroom behaviour to ensure a productive and safe atmosphere.
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development.
- Collaborating seamlessly with colleagues, including teaching assistants and other school staff, to maintain continuity and consistent teaching approaches.
- Adapting teaching strategies to meet the varied needs of students, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Engaging with parents and carers to support student learning and well-being.
