what should I do if my clock-card or ID badge isn't working?
Don't worry! Just let your manager know as soon as you can. They'll help track your hours manually so you're paid correctly while we get your card sorted out.

how can I book some time off for a holiday?
We want you to enjoy your breaks! Simply request via your team leader or section manager to check if your preferred dates are available. If they are, just fill out a Randstad holiday form, get it signed by your manager, and pop it back to the Randstad office.

what’s the dress code for work?
To stay comfortable and professional, we recommend plain, dark t-shirts or jumpers paired with black workwear trousers. To keep things simple, please avoid sportswear or any clothing with large logos.

will I be provided with PPE?
Yes, your safety is our priority! The onsite Randstad team will provide all the PPE you need for your specific role, including a free pair of safety boots. We just ask that you always wear the boots provided for your protection.

can I get prescription safety glasses?
Absolutely! You can apply for these if you've been on assignment for 12 weeks or more, or if you're an FLT driver. Just provide us with a copy of your prescription, and we’ll order a Specsavers voucher for you.

what should I do if I’m feeling unwell?
If you're unwell, please contact the Randstad team at least one hour before your shift starts. You will need to provide your full name, work area, and the reason for your absence. If you start feeling poorly while at work, Please speak to a team leader, first aider, or the Randstad team directly.
