We provide national support across a wide range of practical roles, including study skills support, manual note-taking, library assistance, and exam scribe and reader services. Our expert support staff are trained to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, health conditions, or additional learning needs, ensuring that every student has the tools and support they need to thrive in their studies.
In addition to general support, we offer specialist mentoring services, including wellbeing mentoring, counselling, and support for students with autism, mental health conditions, or sensory impairments such as BSL (British Sign Language) interpreting. Our commitment to providing the right support at the right time helps students feel confident, supported, and capable of achieving their academic goals.

disability support (DSA)
Randstad Student Support is the UK’s leading provider of in-person support for DSA students, with 5,000 qualified candidates nationwide. We work closely with DSA assessors to match students with tailored support, including note-taking, exam scribing, and assistive technology. Our goal is to help students reach their full potential.

non medical help support
We offer non-medical help to students by providing essential practical support, such as note-taking, exam scribing, library assistance, and study skills guidance. Our trained support workers ensure that students with disabilities or additional learning needs have the resources they need to succeed academically and fully engage in university life.

mental health support
Randstad Student Support provides specialised mental health support through trained professionals, offering counselling, wellbeing mentoring, and tailored emotional support. We help students manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges, ensuring they receive the care they need to maintain their academic focus, personal wellbeing, and overall success at university.

career and employability services and graduate career counselling
Randstad offers tailored Career and Employability Services for disabled students, helping them transition from university to the workplace. Our mentors provide one-to-one sessions on goal setting, interview preparation, and personal branding. We also offer group sessions covering CV writing and job search strategies, ensuring students gain the skills to secure and maintain employment.
In addition, we provide Graduate Career Counselling to guide students in navigating their career paths, job search strategies, and personal development. Our counsellors work closely with graduates to help them identify strengths, set career goals, and build confidence to succeed in their chosen professions.

Randstad offers tailored support for learners with learning difficulties, mental health issues, autism, and ADHD to help them succeed in their apprenticeships. Our support enhances training completion, employer engagement, and workplace confidence.
Our service adapts to each learner’s needs and facilitates funding claims through the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).

BSL interpreters
We have 275 SFE-qualified BSL interpreters supporting on campus at over 70 UK institutions, alongside 400 interpreters delivering online support. Our expanded BSL team allows us to offer a complete, student-focused package, delivering consistent, high-quality interpreting with strong availability and timely support.
