finding more families for children who need them.

Team Fostering is an independent, not-for-profit fostering agency that has supported children, young people and foster families since 2001.

With children at the centre of what they do, their local teams provide the training, guidance and ongoing support foster carers need throughout their journey.

Foster carers receive regular payments, with enhanced financial support available for this specialist fostering opportunity.

Right now they're looking for more people with the stability, commitment and willingness to learn to offer a child a family home across Yorkshire and the East Midlands.

where you could make a difference.

A child can be ready for family life before the right foster family is ready for them.

team fostering is looking for more families ready to offer that next step.

finding the right match.

When a child is ready for family life, finding the right match matters. Every child has their own personality, interests, relationships, experiences and hopes for the future.

Team Fostering involves young people closely in matching and works with the people who know them best to understand what they need. That can mean building introductions around the things they enjoy, giving everyone time to get to know each other and helping the child feel seen for who they are.

a bridge into family life.

For children moving from residential care, Team Fostering provides an enhanced one-year support package called Bridge to Belonging.

The name came from one of Team Fostering’s young people, who described it as the “bridge” they needed to live with a family.

It supports the journey from assessing readiness and finding the right match through introductions, settling in and the first year together.
