Randstad is an approved supplier on RM6376, the national Supply Teachers and Education Recruitment framework from the Government Commercial Agency (GCA), backed by the Department for Education. It gives state-funded schools and trusts a compliant way to recruit education staff.

From September 2026, single and multi-academy trusts must use the framework when hiring supply staff. Randstad is approved on both lots until the framework ends on 30 April 2029, giving you two ways to work with us:

For trusts considering Lot 2 but not ready to move directly to a full MSP, Randstad also offers MSP Lite. This six-month trial of a more centralised staffing model is shaped around your schools, priorities and agreed measures of success, giving you a practical way to test the approach before making a longer-term decision.

The framework also offers:

* More predictable and transparent costs through DfE-negotiated rates and capped supplier fees. These caps apply to supplier fees, not worker pay.
* The option to move temporary staff into permanent roles without a transfer fee after 12 weeks, with four weeks’ notice.
* Pre-checked suppliers, pre-agreed terms and conditions, and the required safeguarding checks for candidates.
