1:1 SEN SUPPORT ASSISTANT

Randstad Education is collaborating with specialist provisions in the Liverpool region to find a compassionate and skilled 1:1 SEN Support Assistant to begin immediately. This is a full-time, term-time role with the possibility of becoming permanent for the ideal candidate.
Role Overview:
As a 1:1 SEN Assistant, you'll be supporting students with a range of complex needs such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and Physical Disabilities.
What We're Looking For:
... - A valid Enhanced DBS (child and adult) or willingness to obtain one.
- At least 6 months of recent experience in a UK school setting.
- Prior experience with complex learning profiles is an advantage.
- Commitment to a long-term, full-time position.
- Availability Monday through Friday during term time.
- Two professional references from recent roles.
- Eligibility to work legally in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalised one-to-one support tailored to individual learning plans.
- Foster positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
- Contribute to lesson planning and classroom activities.
- Work in line with the P Scales or EHCP goals.
- Assist students with varying levels of SEN including SLD, ADHD, and ASD.
- Show resilience, empathy, and adaptability every day.
