Randstad is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team and make a real difference in a young learner's life. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a supportive and collaborative school environment.
Position description / Job description- Delivering individualized learning support to a child with SEN.
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment tailored to the child's needs.
- Collaborating effectively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of the student's progress, including observations and assessments.
- Adapting teaching methods and materials to suit the child's learning style and abilities.
- Participating in school meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
- Assisting with classroom management and organization to ensure a smooth learning experience.
- Communicating regularly with parents/guardians to share updates on the child's progress and any relevant concerns.
We're looking for you, if:
- Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification (essential).
- Proven experience (essential) supporting children with SEN, ideally within a primary school setting.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards challenges.
- Proficiency in using relevant assessment tools and record-keeping systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
