The Opportunity:
We are looking for a precision-focused 360 Excavator Operator (Above 10t) to join a high-profile infrastructure project in Blyth. This is a long-term role on a flagship site, supporting the primary civils and groundworks packages.
The successful operator will be working alongside our established groundworks gangs, focusing on high-intensity drainage and structural earthworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Deep Drainage (S104): Precision excavation for large-bore sewers, working in tandem with pipe-layers and managing various trench support systems/trench boxes.
Structural Earthworks: Digging out and grading for reinforced concrete pads, industrial floor slabs, and heavy-duty bolt boxes.
Highways Prep: Executing S278/S38 road box construction, radius kerbing prep, and sub-base grading to strict tolerances.
Lifting Operations: Safely executing lifts for drainage components, rebar cages, and site materials.
Service Safety: Strict adherence to "Permit to Dig" protocols and working safely near live utility corridors.
Requirements:
CPCS or NPORS (Blue Card): 360 Excavator Above 10t with Lifting Operations endorsement.
Essential: Valid Safety Critical Medical (Non-negotiable for this site).
Experience: Proven track record on major civils, highways, or industrial infrastructure schemes.
Technical Skill: Experience with GPS (Topcon/Trimble) is highly advantageous but not essential.
Reliability: Must be able to commit to the long-term duration and provide recent, relevant references.
