Job Title: 360 Excavator Operator - Earthworks
Location: Darlington
Pay Rate: £21.00 per hour (CIS)
We are currently seeking an experienced 360 Excavator Operator to join a major earthworks project based in Darlington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 360 excavators for bulk earthworks, deep drainage, trenching, grading, and muck shifting.
- Work in close coordination with groundworkers, dumper drivers, and roller operatives to maintain progress and accuracy to levels.
- Perform daily pre-start inspections, routine maintenance checks, and ensure all attachments are safely secured.
- Maintain strict adherence to site health and safety standards, exclusion zones, and underground utility guidelines.
Requirements:
- Valid CPCS or NPORS card (360 Excavator Above & Below 10 Tonnes essential).
- Proven experience operating excavators on large-scale earthworks or groundworks projects.
- Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis, safety boots).
- Valid CIS registration.
- Strong reliability, precise machine control, and a focus on site safety.
