About the Role:
- Conduct thorough assessments of adolescents at risk, identifying their needs and developing person-centered support plans.
- Undertake safeguarding investigations, working collaboratively with multi-agency partners (police, health professionals, education) to ensure effective interventions.
- Engage with adolescents and their families, building rapport and trust to achieve positive outcomes.
- Manage a caseload effectively, prioritizing urgent cases and adhering to statutory timescales.
- Contribute to a supportive and collaborative team environment committed to best practice.
- Participate in regular supervision and contribute to service development.
Requirements:
- Registered with Social Care England.
- Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Experience working with adolescents and/or in safeguarding is highly desirable.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies relating to adolescent safeguarding.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with young people and their families.
- Commitment to person-centered practice and ethical standards.
