Complete Section 42 Enquiries (safeguarding adults at risk).

Undertake Care Act Section 9 Assessments.

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and risk management planning.

Apply principles and requirements of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 (MCA) in assessments and decision-making.

Work collaboratively with other agencies, ensuring a multi-agency safeguarding approach.

Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed records of all cases and actions.

Prioritize and manage a complex caseload within statutory timeframes.

Advocate for service users, ensuring their rights and best interests are protected.



Required Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified Social Worker with valid Social Work England registration.

Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in adult social care.

Proven experience working within a MASH or safeguarding team.

Strong understanding and application of Care Act 2014 and MCA 2005.

Ability to manage high-risk cases independently.

Excellent communication, organizational, and report-writing skills.



Preferred Experience:

Experience in a fast-paced MASH environment.

Previous work with vulnerable adults and safeguarding enquiries.
