Advanced Practitioner - Locality Team
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Locum Advanced Practitioner to join the Locality Teams at Bradford Children and Families Trust.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking Trust located in the UK's City of Culture, working within supportive, well-structured teams committed to delivering high-quality services for children and families.
We are seeking confident practitioners with strong experience of working with children and families across Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Public Law Outline (PLO), and Care Proceedings.

Responsibilities:
- Hold and manage a complex caseload of children and families
- Provide practice leadership, guidance, and support to colleagues
- Model high-quality, strengths-based social work practice
- Support robust assessments, care planning, and interventions
- Contribute to decision-making and risk management processes
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies and professionals
- Promote positive and sustainable outcomes for children
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
- Diploma / Degree in Social Work
- Social Work England registration
- Significant experience within Children's Services
- Strong experience across CIN, CP, PLO, and Care Proceedings
- Ability to support and mentor other practitioners
- Excellent assessment, analytical, and communication skills
