Randstad is currently recruiting for a Qualified AMHP (Approved Mental Health Professional) to join Kingston Council. This is a key role supporting individuals experiencing mental health crises by ensuring timely and effective interventions under the Mental Health Act.

About the Role:

As an AMHP, you'll:

• Conduct assessments under the Mental Health Act

• Triage referrals and manage urgent mental health cases

• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and healthcare professionals

• Advocate for the rights, safety, and well-being of vulnerable individuals

• Make critical decisions in line with legal and ethical responsibilities

Requirements:

Qualified AMHP
Registered with Social Work England
Recent DBS check (or willingness to complete one)
Strong experience working as an AMHP in a statutory setting
