Randstad Education is seeking a passionate and imaginative Art Teacher to join our secondary school and deliver high-quality Art and Design lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 around Havering.
You'll lead students through the creative process-from exploration and experimentation to reflection and refinement-helping them develop technical skills, artistic confidence, and a strong visual voice.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge students in their art studies.
- Promote progress and positive outcomes for students by providing effective instruction.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the subject and curriculum, fostering students' artistic knowledge and skills.
- Plan and deliver well-structured art lessons that engage and accommodate the strengths and needs of all students.
- Utilise assessment effectively and productively to inform instruction and monitor student progress.

Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified teaching status) is essential.
- An up to date enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
- Experience teaching art in a secondary school.

- Passion for fostering creativity and supporting student development.
