In this role, you will:
- Curriculum Leadership: Support the Director of English and Maths in managing the Maths curriculum area, leading learning and student experience and driving team performance
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Maths department, ensuring efficient organisation and excellent student support
- Innovation & Creativity: Develop and implement new practices and approaches to encourage innovation and creativity within the Maths curriculum
- Progression & Performance: Lead and achieve agreed progression targets for each program under your responsibility
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure an excellent customer service experience for students and their families
- Attendance Monitoring & Support: Monitor student attendance, contacting students and families to address attendance concerns and support at-risk learners

What You'll Need:
- A degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- GCSE examiner experience.
- Teaching qualification (DTTLS, QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed).
- Evidence of continued Professional Development (CPD).
- High level of applied English and Maths (Minimum Level 2).
- Excellent ICT skills.
- Right to work in the UK is essential
- An enhanced DBS on the update service
- 2 recent and relevant reference
- Proven people management skills (3+ years)
- Well-organised and able to work autonomously under pressure to meet deadlines
