Are you passionate about supporting children and families? Cardiff Council is looking for a dedicated Assistant Social Worker to join their Children's Services team.
Key Responsibilities:
Support qualified social workers with casework and assessments
Help gather and organise information for child protection and safeguarding cases
Build strong working relationships with children, families, and partner agencies
Contribute to care plans and reviews under supervision
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
Ensure all work is in line with statutory requirements and local procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a social care or children's services setting
Strong organisational and communication skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)
