Are you ready to help others work and learn without limits? As our new Assistive Technology Trainer, you won't just be teaching software; you'll be providing the keys to independence. We are looking for a dedicated specialist to deliver bespoke training to students and professionals across the neurodiverse and disability spectrum!
Why this role? This isn't a 'one-size-fits-all' teaching job. You will be a consultant, a mentor, and a tech expert rolled into one. Whether you are working remotely or on-site, you will be responsible for creating a roadmap for success for every individual you meet.
Impact: Empowering neurodivergent individuals and people with disabilities through technology.
The Role: More Than Just IT Training
Are you a skilled communicator who believes that technology should be a bridge, not a barrier? We are looking for an ambitious Assistive Technology Trainer to join our mission on a hybrid working schedule.
You won't just be teaching software; you'll be providing the tools for independence. You will work 1-to-1 with students and professionals-including those with dyslexia, autism, and sensory impairments-to build bespoke training plans that truly change how they work and learn.
What You'll Do
Personalise: Assess individual needs to create "bespoke-to-the-user" training journeys.
Empower: Deliver high-quality training on a range of AT (software and hardware) both onsite and via remote sessions.
Adapt: Pivot your teaching style to suit diverse learning profiles, from AD(H)D to visual impairments.
Grow: Stay at the forefront of the industry by attending ongoing CPD and internal training.
What You'll Bring
Experience: A background in teaching, training, or supporting individuals with disabilities/SpLDs.
Communication: The ability to explain complex tech in a simple, empathetic, and patient manner.
Tech-Agility: A logical approach to problem-solving and a genuine interest in learning new software.
Organisation: Reliability and the ability to manage your own paperwork and student files with high attention to detail.
Why Join Us?
We don't expect you to know every piece of software on day one. We invest in our people:
Comprehensive Induction: A full, 4-week in-depth training program to get you up to speed.
Career Growth: Ongoing CPD and professional development.
Work-Life Balance: A hybrid working model (Home/Onsite) with a supportive team culture.
How to Apply
If you're a skilled trainer or have working SEN experience and are looking for a role where your technical skills meet genuine social impact, we want to hear from you!
