Are you a calm, consistent professional with experience supporting students with behavioural challenges? We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive school in Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term position starting this September, offering the chance to make a real difference in the lives of secondary-age students.
About the Role:
You will be a key part of the support system for students aged 11-16 who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Your main goal is to provide consistent guidance and support to help these young people manage their behaviour, regain confidence, and re-engage with their education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students in various settings.
- Help students overcome personal and academic barriers.
- Assist with academic catch-up and classroom work.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and well-being.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in a UK school environment.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for a new one).
- The legal right to work in the UK.
- Full-time availability: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
