Job Opportunity: Bengali Language Support Assistant

Location: Liverpool

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Bengali speaker to join our team. You will play a vital role in helping our students succeed in their exams and feel at home in our school.

Your Main Duties:

• Translation: Helping students understand lessons by translating instructions from English to Bengali.
• Exam Support: Acting as a reader or scribe for students during their exams.
• Communication: Helping teachers talk with Bengali-speaking parents and families.
• Student Well-being: Making sure students feel confident and supported in the classroom.

What You Need:

• To be fluent in both Bengali and English.
• A patient and helpful attitude toward young people.
• The ability to explain tricky words in a simple way.
• A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one immediately).
