About the Role:
As a Business Support Officer focused on Communications, you will be a key member of the school's business support team. Your expertise will be crucial in providing an exceptional business support service to pupils, teachers, and wider stakeholders, contributing directly to an outstanding learning environment. You will help deliver and enhance the communication strategies within the school and the wider Star community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a high-quality administrative and communications support service within the school.
- Utilising MS Office software packages (Word, Excel, Outlook) and databases effectively.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and stakeholders across the school and Star community.
- Assisting in the creation and dissemination of school communications.
- Managing administrative tasks efficiently, prioritising workload, and meeting deadlines, particularly under pressure.
Who We're Looking For (Requirements):
- 5 A*-Cs at GCSE, including English and Maths.
- Proven experience working in an administrative setting.
- Excellent organisational and specialist technical skills.
- Extensive experience in delivering outstanding customer service.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
- The ability to prioritise effectively, work with high accuracy, and use initiative, especially when under pressure and working to deadlines.
- A committed team player with a drive and passion to support young people.
